One of the SCKC’s goals is to promote the knowledge and basic skills necessary to be safe on the water and to ensure a positive paddling experience. Each summer our clinics provide paddlers an opportunity to train with ACA certified instructors to learn basic canoe and kayak skills. These classes are structured both for new boaters and for those wanting to brush up on their skills. You must be a member of SCKC to participate in these clinics. Pre-registration is required ~ no drop-ins. Click here to email coordinator Diane Adams or call (509) 448-9214 to register.
Clinics have concluded for this year. 2014 clinics will be posted in April. In the meantime, you can read the descriptions of this year’s SCKC paddling clinics below. Click on each one for detailed information.
